When the children tell her its science, and that they have been learning about birds..Miss P. straight away leads the discussion towards flight...and nothing gets children more excited about flight than aeroplanes. She and her class make some origami paper darts and headed to the hall to fly them.
Not to be outdone my Miss P, our classes did the same! It was so much fun.

| It was too windy on the field so we went into the hall. We had great fun seeing who could fly theirs the furthest. |
I have put out a number of origami books in my classroom, it is so nice to see the children making items when they have spare time.
