Today we had some special visitors to our classroom...our grandparents! It was wonderful having them spend some precious time with their grandchildren. Well..not only was it grandparents day it has also been arbour week. So Gill and I decided to combine the two! We showed everyone a lovely song we found on YouTube all about trees. Each grandparent and grandchild then made some leaves for a giant tree. After that they wrote an eco message on an insect or creature that benefits from trees. It was so lovely watching everyone working towards a common goal. Our picture is now proudly displayed on our door!
