A long story: Pythons.

The next creature Pim met was a baby python. He was shocked to find out that his mother left him, as soon as he was hatched from his egg, to fend for himself.

The baby python gave Pim such a fright when he pretended to want to practice squeezing him.
Pim rushed down his hole and told his mother, as he cuddled up for a feed ...“I'm glad I'm an aardvark,” thought Pim.”I'm glad I was born.” Pim was pleased that he had a mother who loved him.

Kamira, as well Damon and Elijah, who both love snakes and already know lots of information about snakes, had the opportunity to tell us about pythons.when they did their orals.

Elijah unravelled some string to show
us how long a python could grow to.
Our student did a wonderful science lesson where the children learnt about molecules and how different substances can affect them. She used milk, food colouring and dishwashing liquid to demonstrate this.

My class really enjoyed this lesson very much. They then made snakes and used the patterns in the milk to decorate their snake skin!
