We paid a short visit to Canada because we really dont like the cold!
We learnt all about a special hotel there called the Hotel de Glace, that is made entirely out of ice...even the beds!
We also learnt about one of the seven wonders of the world...the Northern Lights. They are truly amazing. we did some stunning chalk drawings of these. We got inspiration from a Canadian folk tail, about a little girl called Aurora who collected pieces of the daytime shy and spread them in the land of darkness, to create the beautiful Aurora Borealis - or Northern lights

In our morning song each day, some brave children even managed to do greet each other with an Eskimo kiss! As you can imagine, it caused mach hilarity each day!
