Orals - Daniel, Mikayla, Evsey, Nikhar, Sizotha and Kiash.

Daniel proved that different shaped pieces of paper offer differ resistance. He was well prepared and the information that he gave was at the appropriate level, and demonstration was good too. Well done, Daniel

Mikayla showed us how salt makes an egg float because it makes the liquid more dense. She used word like buoyancy in her explanation and knew exactly what she was supposed to do. Her experiment lead to discussions about the Dead sea which we all found fascinating.

Evsey made elephant toothpaste which we all enjoyed. We again saw the reactions that different chemicals and substances have with each other. It was a most successful experiment and everyone just loved watching the volcanic effect the mix chemicals  of had.

We had to go outside for Nikhars experiment - he showed us how vinegar and bicarb have a volcanic reaction!  He explained his experiment well and it was very successful.

Sizotha introduced us to circuits by demonstrating how a light works. I just loved her creative introduction.

Kiash is in his element when he stands in front of the class. His explanation and demonstration of Newtons law - that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction - was  outstanding. His demonstration of using air expulsion to move his racing cars was a most effective one. Well done Kiash.
