Orals: Shaarav, Aryiana and Inkanyezi

I have been suitably impressed with our orals this week so far, and I am very proud of my class.

Shaarav

Shaarav started us off very well. He interviewed his granny who visit Delhi. He had so much to tell us, which made his oral so interesting.
He told us that his grans favourite place to visit was the Sohaj Anand religious centre. She said that it was a breathtaking building made of marble. She particularly enjoyed watching the water and light show. He showed us a short video clip so we could see how beautiful it was.

He played the Tabla for us

He brought some food for us to
taste that his Gran would have
eaten on her travels.
Well done Shaarav on your excellent presentation.

Aryiana
Aryiana interviewed her cousin Salona who told her about her trip to New York. She said that it took 15 hours to get there! She enjoyed seeing the Statue of Liberty. She was lucky enough to see a play - Spiderman, on Broadway, which she really enjoyed.
This was another well planned and presented oral..thank you Ariyana, we really enjoyed listening to you.

Inkanyezi

Inkanyezi told us about his Aunts visit to Joburg. She went to Sandton to do some shopping and Germiston to visit friends. She ate both traditional food - like tripe as well as some western food like crab!
Her highlights were visiting Sun City and travelling on the Gautrain.

He too was so well prepared and spoke clearly and confidently. Well done!
