After a short Easter break it was back to school today. Our theme this term will be based on the book, 'The Aardvark who wasn't sure' by Gill Tomlinson. Gill and I have lots of exciting things planned, especially our visit to Tala Game Reserve on 14 May.Before we start reading the book next week, we thought that it would be important for the children to learn about Aardvarks. We showed both our classes a Power Point presentation all about Aardvarks, which they loved. Judging by what they remembered they learnt lots as well.
I never knew that warthogs, porcupines and pythons live in a burrow like Aardvarks.
