Big business - elephants

For the next two weeks, we will be learning about elephants. We are again stressing the importance of using adjectives to make our sentences interesting. I am pleased to see how some children are really trying hard to improve their sentences.

We asked Mr Wiggil to come and tell us about his elephant encounter. He and his family are really lucky to be alive. They were watching a group of elephants on a game reserve when one elephant charged them - not once but three times! He had our classes eating out of his hand as encountered the scary details.
One relieved family!

The holes made by the elephants tusks on two occasions!

Another hole made created by the third attack.
