Our first experiment was to make sugar crystals. We melted lots of sugar in water and poured it into individual containers. We learnt about molecules, evaporation and saturated solutions. We are patiently waiting for them to grow.
Next it was time to see what happens when citric acid, bi-carb and icing sugar mix with our saliva! The sherbet worked so well. Not everyone enjoyed the frothy explosion, but Kripa thought it was wonderful!
