Our year got off to a great start last week. As our theme is all about growing up Megan and I introduced our theme by explaining to our classes that each child is like a flower.They start out a seed and with hard work and learning, blossom into beautiful flowers!
Therefore we thought it only fitting to plant a seedling each, which we will nurture and help to grow into beautiful flowering plants. They will also make our verandah the prettiest in the school!
By way of getting to know each other, our classes took 'selfies' and wrote a few sentences about themselves. You will be able to see them when you come to parents evening on Wednesday.
What a blooming good start! Our kiddies are going to have a fabulous year in Grade 2! Thank you!
