Beach sunrise

Although it wasn't the best sunrise, it was still a beautiful winters morning down at the beach. We were delighted that so many parents joined us, we really appreciate your support and I know that your children do too.

We first gathered on the sand to watch the sun come up. It was cloudy but we were fortunate to see the sun as it came above the horizon.

Miss Caddick did some yoga with us and then we had some hot chocolate and a muffin.

Next it was time for the stinky part of our morning! Quite a few children were brave enough to get their hands stinky by cutting up a sardine and examining every bit of it - ending up with the little hard ball from inside its eye!

Before the bus came to pick us up, we took a walk to the pier and back along the beach. It was such a lovely morning, we didn't want to go back to school!
