3rd weeks reflections

I have added photos and some news of one our activities -now my blog feels like it is coming alive! I cant wait for the children and parents to be involved and using it next year. There is so much more that I would like to add, but there are just too many demands at school at the moment. Will get busy during the holidays.

I have added some photos to my blog, very proud of myself!! So looking forward to using my blog for regular postings in the new year.

2nd weeks refections

This week I have fiddled around with the background of my blog, still haven't found one that I am completely happy with yet. I have added one or two widgets as well as an extra page. I still want to add a class animal or one of those voice widgets as well. Will get to that soon.

I have been so inspired by this course and even more excited about learning how to set up a blog. I have looked at many of the examples that Fiona gave as suggestions. Wow! I cant wait to get mine all set up and begin blogging! I know what I am going to be doing these December holidays!

Hello, my name is Melanie. I have been a grade two teacher at Eden College for the past four years. It is a small private school in Durban, South Africa. The entire school, that starts at grade 000 and goes all the way to grade 12, consists of about 350 children. I am fortunate to have only 16 children in my class this year. I work with a wonderfully creative partner teacher and together this year we have done some really fun things with our classes. I have set up this blog, which I ultimately would like to use as means of sharing what we have done with the parents of the children in my class.
